Artist Statement and Portfolio Theme

My portfolio theme is Women


Women are strong, beautiful, outstanding creature that are all come from different places. I want to show the different women that have shaped me and shaped others. My mother, sisters, aunts, and sea of female cousins have all taught and continue to teach me what it means to be a girl. I am a girl scout. I am in color guard. These are the things that define me. I want to be able to show the way other people they way women are brought up to the person they are. My life is spent surrounded my these strong women and I want to show off to the world. I think in this new age of girl love and not talking bad about each other.  The photos that I've seen in my photography classes have inspired me to show off one and other.
